Society of Indian Radiographers
In 1980 with the efforts of senior Radiographers of Maharashtra, Radiographers from different states had assembled in Pune and laid the foundation of a Radiographers' Association on a National Level. The credit of forming this Association goes to Maharashtra Radiographers. Its first conference was held in Mumbai in 1982.
Subsequent yearly conferences were conducted thrice at Bangalore, twice at Delhi & also at Jaipur Chandigarh, Mumbai, Hyderabad & Lucknow
