Aims & objectives of Society of Indian Radiographers:
a. To develop academic excellence and foster professional efficiency among members of the Society.
b. To dignify the profession of Radiographers by maintaining and improving the ethical, professional standards of education and research.
c. To have Registration Council of Radiographers at Central and State levels.
d. To have common designation as "Radiological Technologist" throughout India.
e. To enhance the qualification to B.Sc. in Medical Technology (Radio Diagnosis & Radiotherapy).
f. To ban the entry of unqualified personnel into Radiology Department
g. To get risk leave and risk allowance to all Radiographers working in Radiation.
